Fraud Alert: Beware of Scams Using the KodeGo Name

KodeGo has recently been informed of a scam in which individuals are posing as instructors and using the company’s name to ask for money from applicants and students. We would like to clarify that KodeGo is in no way associated with these entities and would never initiate contact or request payment using unofficial channels.

Rest assured, the KodeGo Team is taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of our students and instructors. We advise everyone to beware of suspicious emails or text messages using the KodeGo name and to immediately report them to us if you encounter them so we can take appropriate action. In the meantime, here are some steps you can take to spot and avoid these scams:

Refer Only to Official Announcements and Messages from KodeGo

Here is a list of official social media accounts and email addresses that we use to post announcements and communicate with students:

Please keep in mind that official emails and text messages from us are registered under the name KodeGo or the domain name @kodego.ph only and nothing else.

Refer Only to Official Payment Channels Specified by KodeGo

Go directly to KodeGo’s Tuition Page at https://kodego.ph/tuition to view the payment methods and channels authorized by KodeGo. Only the official payment partners mentioned by KodeGo such as Bukas, are authorized to receive payments on behalf of KodeGo.

Please take note that we process payments only through our official payment channels and never by using any personal account.

Watch Out for Questionable Accounts and Messages

Lastly, be wary of personal accounts and messages that display suspicious content. Though they come under the guise of working under an existing company, scammers typically make use of unprofessional language and commit grammatical errors when targeting potential victims. They would also ask for your bank account details and other personal information for questionable reasons. Watch out for these signs so you can prevent falling prey to these scams.

If you find any malicious activity online concerning KodeGo, please don’t hesitate to report them to us at help@kodego.ph.
